Special Commission - Freedom Of The City of Plymouth

One of our more recent commissions is this stunning freedom of the city of Plymouth scrolls. Hand painted on vellum in the 1950's by the College of Arms. It was an honour to work with this particular piece. We relish the opportunity to work on such special commissions  as it is enormously satisfying seeing the finished product and knowing the client trusts us to produce the quality of work they are after.

Charlie O'Sullivan - Devon Artist

O'Sullivan have recently visited us to discuss our products and finding the right material and colour frames for her artwork. We framed all of her artwork for the exhibition at Affordable Art Fair in London from 13 -13 March 2016. The products we framed are metal gold frames and white tray frames.

O'Sullivan: 'Painting is a very solitary activity and my paintings become a conversation with myself. So its no surprise to me that an odd figure, an upside down house, a strange dog or teapot appears in my work......its only a reflection of my thoughts and memories. As well as a personal reflection I find that I also incorporate the narrative of others which I trip over either in person or through the media.' For more information about her recent work, check it out: http://www.charlieosullivan.co.uk.
