Insitju Fine Art and Conservation Ltd strives to maintains the value of artwork with museum standard materials and methods applied.

Our frames are built for conservational purposes to ensure that each work of art is protected to the greatest possible extent against environmental factors. We use only acid-free and non-ageing matt boards and backings. All our adhesives are breathable, 100% reversible and also acid-free. We use conservation glass to protect against damaging UV light.

We offer bespoke framing up to museum level framing using UV glass and Museum standard mount boards.

We currently under take regular contracts for museums and gallery framing.

Eagle

The object is an ornately carved eagle, with wings spread open looking to the left. It is perched on
top of a plinth with a hoop in its mouth, for holding a chain for decoration purposes. The object has
been altered in ways that do not reflect the designer’s original intent, though it is still used as a
decorative object, though in a different context.
